Hello

I am a forty-something year old woman with three children and married to a man I never should have said ‘yes’ to.

Having lived with the effects of emotional abuse for many years but not knowing that was what it was, I felt I wanted to share my experience. Why? Not to bash the father of my children – not at all. It was more to do with helping someone else see sooner than I did the sort of behaviour that is just not acceptable. To help someone make a change – that change may not necessarily mean leaving the relationship as maybe there is a chance to turn things around – but change is definitely needed if you are made to feel ‘less than’ in any area, in any way. And if my story can help you see that, then I’m happy.
